Legacy Casting Hiring All Kinds of Extras for ICEMAN Shreveport Dec. 14ish-Jan. 28

FROM: Andrei Constantinescu Andrei Constantinescu (Formerly of Glorioso Casting) has opened his own casting company, Legacy Casting. We’re currently working on TNT’s “DALLAS” which is filming in Dallas and we’re also working on The Iceman in Shreveport, LA!!! This film stars Michael Shannon, Ray Liota, David Schwimmer, and Chris Evans. Filming begins December 14th through January 28th. We’re looking for ALL TYPES of background actors during the time frame above. TOPLESS DANCERS $250.00/day but still being negotiated. It’s a period film set in the 1960′s, 70′s and 80′s. Long hair, hippie hair, cool funky hair is a plus! We’re looking for the following:
Children of all ages, specifically:
Infants (twins preferred), 1year olds (girls preferred),
6-18 year olds for a Catholic School Scene and a Roller Skating Scene (likely filmed the same day)
10-14 yr old version of our lead actor Michael Shannon (for a flashback scene)
9-11 yr old version of Steven Dorff (for a flashback scene)
Adults:
Biker Bar Patrons (with few to no visible tattoos)
Rough Neck Bar Patrons (with no visible tattoos)
Business People
Parents of School Children
Nuns
Interesting faces
Male dead bodies
Upscale Restaurant Patrons
Prison Guards (military experience is a plus)
Police Officers (military and law enforcement experience is a plus)
Firefighters
“3 Piece Band” (You will not actually be playing on camera) but if you can fake playing piano, fake playing drums and fake playing upright bass please submit yourself! :)
Upscale Dancing Couple
Upscale/Trendy Dance Club Patrons
Exotic Female Painted Topless Dancers at Dance Club (you will be nude and painted) NO NUDE PHOTOS PLEASE!
Doctors and Nurses at a Hospital
Courtroom Lawyers
Cars from the 1960′s-1980′s are also needed for the show.

The launch is coming

Spending the day inside working on logo design and marketing campaign materials for my big new launch of Amy Copeland Photography. I can’t wait to be done with it and launch it!!

I am splitting my business into 4 categories which will have their own name, logo and colors. There will be the portraits, wedding, boudoir, and seniors. The names have been picked and here are the winners.

In the past I have had several semi finalist winners and a little bit of attention. This month I am HONORED to share that out of the hundred of thousands of photos entered and shared by some of the best photographers in the business I received photo of the day. Doin it for Dave (Monthly Charity Work)

I was asked by a great friend if I could help the family document this wonderful even that has been planned for Mr Dave. I gave away two gift certificates and took pictures of the whole event for the family and all the wonderful volunteers and the special and most giving crowd of supports ever. It was an honor to be a part of this wonderful event!

Learn more about Dave

John David “Dave” DeRoussel was born and raised right here in Acadiana. He has been married to Shirley Bourque DeRoussel for 46 years. They have 5 children together who were also raised in Acadiana. Dave retired from Southern Pacific Railroad / Union Pacific Railroad with 39 years of service. He spent whatever free time he had from work coaching, prepping fields, and generally being around the park for all of his kids who chose sports as a hobby. He supported their every venture with 100% love and affection. He and Shirley were both well known and loved by friends of their kids because they were the “cool parents”.

On August 3, 2010, Dave’s life changed. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. With the love and support of his immediate family, he has decided to fight the odds and become another “SURVIVOR”. So now he needs your help Acadiana. It’s time to do what we do best and give back to those in need. A benefit is being held for Dave on September 18, 2010 at Scott Park located in Scott, LA. Activities include a co-ed softball game, fun jumps for the kids, a d.j, live entertainment from local bands, a silent auction, a live auction, a raffle, and food and drinks. The softball tournament starts at 8:00 am with entertainment tentatively scheduled to begin around 10:00 am. Your support in this HUGE event is greatly appreciated. In true “Dave” fashion, a portion of donations received will be donated back to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospitaland The Miles Perret Center.
